Finding amidst the junk inside the Nerio the astromech droid head the crew had recovered some time ago from the Jedi starfighter impounded at the black site Imperial prison on the moon of Pujool, T-101 plugged into the droid’s memory core and found a hologram of Ismail, with different facial tattoos, that seemed to recount countless volumes of information about the Jedi Order and the history of the Clone Wars and Order 66.  The image, in fact, was of the first clone of Jedi Knight Ismail Kwan, who had taken up residence in the capital ship of Queen Arvala Chai of Varonat who, in exile after the Empire invaded and occupied her world, assumed the role of Commodore of the Veronat-in-Exile fleet which searched for Varonati refugees.  From their hiding place in the Cloak of the Sith nebula, Ismail1, as she identified herself, recounted her entire life story, and that of the rise, heyday and destruction of the Jedi at the hands of the evil Empire.  Among the countless units of data comprising Ismail1’s many recordings, T-101 found reference to an old Imperial base on Mustafar used to train Force-sensitive children abducted by Fett’s mentor, Cad Bane.  The crew suspected Fett may be bringing his cargo there, and set a course for Mustafar, where they found the base sitting on a lava spine too small to land their ship.

Niko and Vash landed on the far side of a great lava moat, and the crew rode Mustafarian Lava Fleas across the chasm and fought the giant, hungry, scorpion-like sher kar creature that clung to the side of the lava spine on which the base sat.  Making their way inside the remains of the abandoned base, currently under reconstruction by a cadre of droids, the crew found a holo-recording of Fett and Vader brokering a deal to have the the clone fetuses brought to Vader at the base, code-named “The Crucible.”  According to the proposed timing of the delivery, the crew preceded Fett’s arrival by four days!
 

The unauthorized operation of the base’s computer system set off an alarm, and as the group attempted to depart, they found themselves surrounded by arriving squads of magma troopers and two mysterious darksiders, one of whom ignited a double-bladed lightsaber!
