Ismail Montross

Ismail Montross began life on the waterworld of Kamino, shortly after the commencement of the Clone Wars, in the underwater laboratory of renegade cloner Maur Ro.  The mad scientist managed to acquire the genetic material of Jedi Knight Ismail Kwan while she was recuperating in Tipoca City from battle wounds.  Since then, Maur Ro has accepted secret commissions for illegal clones of Jedi Knight Kwan, and only he knows how many he has created.

Ismail Montross, initially designated "Ismail4" by her cloner-creator, was the second commission purchased by bounty hunter Boba Fett, who "lost" his first commission of the Kwan clones, Ismail2, to Jedi General Rahm Kota, who accepted her into his Clone War commando squad.  Fett and Ismail4 spent considerable time together in their youth, having much in common given their similar origins. 

 

In time, Ismail4 and Fett also parted ways, and she was adopted by Fett's arch-enemy, Montross, who trained her as a Mandalorian, even as she was taken in by the Sable Dawn assassins' guild, who sponsored her training and induction into the GenoHaradan, a secret society that manipulated galactic political events through murder.  Ismail took up residence on the Hutt shadowport of Point Nadir, where she ran the local chapter of Sable Dawn, answering only to Virec Xan, the leader of the organization.
