T-101

T-101 was a surplus, T-series tactical droid that served the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.  When the Empire appropriated all Separatist materiel after the surrender of the surviving Confederacy leaders, T-101 was commandeered and reprogrammed to serve the Empire.

 

By the time of the Rebellion Against the Empire, T-101 had acquired independent sentience and partnered with the space pirate Volta Gabbana, though those pesky Imperial protocols periodically reasserted themselves at the most inopportune times.  T-101 traipsed around the Mid- and Outer-Rim with Gabbana, pulling heists and capers in relentless pursuit of ill-begotten gains, until Gabbana betrayed T-101 to save his own spongy skin.
