Episode V.11

The Hutt's Hive

Choree Kie, piloting a rented speeder, finally caught up to a pair of thieving Jawas, who lead him on a high-speed chase in the desert on their makeshift, jet-propelled hoverbed, and retrieved from them the pieces of T-101, whom they again tried to pilfer.  Choree Kie returned to Mos Espa and reassembled the droid.  Ismail found them there and arranged to go first to the palace of Jabba the Hutt with the two of them, followed by Quinn and Ark'ik at a later time, so as not to arouse suspicion in the court of the Hutt.  They arrived to find Leia Organa, Princess of Alderaan, in chains at Jabba's side, and a prim, golden protocol droid serving the Hutt as translator.  Bib Fortuna, the Hutt's majordomo, welcomed Choree Kie to the court, being, as Kie was, an employee of the Anjiliac Clan on Point Nadir.  Ismail and T-101 quietly accompanied Choree Kie in the guise of his servants.  Their attempt to keep a low profile met an unexpected end when Eekey Weekey, a gruff and somewhat intoxicated Sy Myrthian with a grudge against Choree Kie, chose to exact his reckoning.  Ismail issued a verbal warning in Mandalorian which Eeky Weekey ignored, but which did not escape the notice of Boba Fett, also in attendance in the Hutt's court.  After a short tussle, Eekey Weekey was quietly dispatched by a Jedi Mind Trick from Ismail; her use of the Force did not escape the notice of the captive Princess Leia.

Shortly thereafter, a man in black entered the court, appeared before Jabba, identified himself as "Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight," and demanded that Leia be turned over to him, along with Captain Solo and "the Wookiee," whom Jabba had apparently imprisoned in his dungeon.  The Hutt refused, and Skywalker used the Force to telekinetically call the pistol of a Gamorrean guard to his hand.  With a flick of a switch, Jabba sent Skywalker, along with the guard, into a pit trap beneath his throne room.  There, an enormous rancor monster swallowed the Gamorrean whole, and turned to Skywalker, who attempted to defend himself with a skull and bones he found in the pit.  Ismail reached out telepathically to the fellow Force-user, beckoning Skywalker to throw the skull.  He did, and Ismail guided it with the Force to a control panel on the wall, triggering a portcullis that came crashing down on the creature, killing it.  Outraged, Jabba condemned Skywalker, Solo and the Wookiee to death by sarlacc at the Pit of Carkoon.

As the court emptied toward Jabba's sail barge, Boba Fett approached Ismail.  Though he was glad to see her, he explained with some chagrin that the Empire had confiscated over Mustafar their precious cargo, the cloned, Force-sensitive fetuses, but that he knew where they were taking them:  a secret, unfinished space station in orbit over Endor!  He urged her to find her way to the Pit of Carcoon so that after the spectacle at the sarlacc pit, they could depart in the Slave I, which he had secreted near it.  Ismail agreed, and she, Choree Kie and T-101 each made their way to one of Jabbas transports.
