Builder-King of Tharbad

Ekhart the Builder is a brawny industrialist of the Dúnedain crossroads city of Tharbad.  His great hammer has built many walls, knocked down a few, and serves him as a powerful weapon in battle.  Known as a friend to all men, he is future-minded and believes that progress must never cease lest Man fall behind. 

 

Ekhart is a master craftsman and his work earned him the notice of the King of Carn Dûm.  When Goblin and Orc raiders gathered in great numbers in the north of the Misty Mountains, threatening the city, the King asked Ekhart to help fortify it against the agents of darkness.  Ekhart's plans turned Carn Dûm into an impregnable fortress that the agents of evil dared not go near.  His construction, fortifications and siege engines were unparalleled in Middle Earth, and for this, the King of Carn Dûm coronated Ekhart as regent of Tharbad.
